Bryan announced plan to add at least $2 million to VI Slice homeownership program

Gov. Albert Bryan Jr. announced on October 27, 2025, that he planned to add at least $2 million to the VI Slice Moderate Income Homeownership Program.

Government House said the program, launched in October 2022, provides grants of up to $200,000 to qualified first-time homebuyers to help close financing gaps.

According to the administration, the program had received 94 applications as of October 27. Of those, 64 had been approved and closed or disbursed, while eight were pending a final decision or documentation.

Government House said the additional funding would expand the program after the initial funds were fully used.
