Bryan issues statement on death of architect Gerville R. Larsen

Gov. Albert Bryan Jr. issued a statement on Oct. 30, 2025, on the death of architect Gerville R. Larsen.

Government House said Larsen was a sixth-generation Crucian, a registered architect and a member of the American Institute of Architects. He led the Christiansted-based design practice Taller Larjas and was known for work in historic preservation and cultural stewardship in the territory.

In the statement, Bryan said he had worked with Larsen in Christiansted Town and offered condolences to Larsen’s family, friends, colleagues, students and artisans he had inspired.
