WAPA scheduled islandwide St. John power outage for February 2

The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority said on January 23, 2025, that it scheduled an islandwide electrical outage for St. John on Sunday, February 2, 2025, from 5 a.m. to 8 a.m.
WAPA said the outage was planned to allow testing and preventive maintenance on the submarine cable connecting St. Thomas and St. John.
