Ryan Clark Addresses His Exit from ESPN's 'NFL Live' Show - Bleacher Report

Clark wrote Wednesday on social media that he had asked the network "should I be done now?"

The Athletic's Andrew Marchand reported Wednesday that Clark was informed of his firing while the show was on the air. Clark was not present for the episode's closing segment.

Clark has worked as an analyst on ESPN shows including NFL Live as well as First Take, Get Up and SportsCenter. He won a Sports Emmy for his work with the network in 2023.

A former NFL safety, Clark played 13 pro seasons after being signed as an undrafted free agent with the New York Giants in 2002. He went on to total 16 interceptions and 938 tackles over 177 NFL games.

He spent the majority of his career with the Pittsburgh Steelers, with whom he won Super Bowl XLIII in 2009 and earned a Pro Bowl nod in 2011.

Clark began making guest appearances on ESPN while playing for Pittsburgh and Washington in the final two seasons of his playing career.

He announced his retirement from the NFL in 2015, the same day he joined ESPN as an analyst.
