Road work on East and West Airport roads in St. Croix set to begin in mid-December

Government House said on December 10, 2024, that road work to mill and pave East Airport Road and West Airport Road on St. Croix was scheduled to begin in mid-December.

The work was to be carried out by Marco, St. Croix, according to the announcement.

Government House said the 35th Legislature approved an appropriation of more than $1.7 million from the St. Croix Capital Improvement Fund for the project.

The administration advised motorists to expect changes to regular traffic patterns near Henry E. Rohlsen Airport and possible delays during the work.
