Bryan scheduled to speak at sustainable islands summit in St. Kitts

Gov. Albert Bryan Jr. was scheduled to travel to St. Kitts on May 30 to attend the 2025 Global Sustainable Islands Summit, according to Government House.

Government House said Bryan was scheduled to speak at the summit’s Climate Finance Forum on May 30. The administration said his remarks would address climate investment, disaster resilience and financing for small island jurisdictions.

While Bryan was away, Lt. Gov. Tregenza A. Roach was to serve as acting governor in accordance with Virgin Islands law, Government House said.

Bryan was scheduled to return to the territory on June 2.
