Official details

According to PTWC an earthquake occurred at about 136 miles northwest of Isla de Mona at 1120 AM AST.

Based on location and magnitude the earthquake was not sufficient to generate a tsunami damaging to Puerto Rico...the Virgin Islands...the U.S. Atlantic and Gulf of America coasts or eastern Canada. Some of these areas may experience non-damaging sea level changes.
