Government House briefing addresses roadway repair concerns during Digital Health Summit

During a Government House weekly briefing on St. Thomas on Nov. 19, Communications Director Richard Motta said the administration was aware of residents' concerns about road conditions across the U.S. Virgin Islands.

The briefing was held at the Westin Resort & Spa at Frenchman's Reef during the second day of the 2024 Digital Health Summit, a three-day event hosted by the Governor's Office of Health Information Technology.

Motta said more than a dozen road and infrastructure projects were underway, while acknowledging that heavy rainfall had complicated repair work and strained existing infrastructure.

He also said residents should continue to share concerns and suggestions about roadway conditions.
