WAPA set 2024 open enrollment period for retirees from Nov. 6 to Nov. 16

The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority said on October 29, 2024, that its retirees were scheduled to take part in the 2024 health benefits open enrollment period from November 6 through November 16, 2024.
WAPA said the enrollment period included a change in benefits that would be available only during that window and said retirees who did not participate would not be able to select that option later.
The authority scheduled an in-person enrollment event on St. Croix for November 6, 2024, from 11 a.m. to noon at Caribbean Cinemas. It also said Bentek assistance would be available there from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. and from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.
A virtual enrollment event was scheduled for November 7, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
An in-person event for St. Thomas and St. John retirees was scheduled for November 8, 2024, from 11 a.m. to noon at Colombian Hall in Estate Tutu at Holy Family Church. WAPA said Bentek assistance would also be available there from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. and from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.
