Bryan issues November 2025 proclamations for observances in the U.S. Virgin Islands
Gov. Albert Bryan Jr. issued a series of proclamations on November 3, 2025, designating month-long, week-long and day-specific observances in the U.S. Virgin Islands for November 2025.
The month-long observances were David Hamilton Jackson Month, National Adoption Month, National Alzheimer’s Disease Awareness Month, National Diabetes Month, National Entrepreneurship Month, National Family Caregivers Month, Military Families Month and Virgin Islands Recycles Month.
The week-long observances were National Nurse Practitioner Week from November 9 through November 15, Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week from November 16 through November 22, and American Education Week from November 17 through November 21.
Bryan also proclaimed November 1 as David Hamilton Jackson Day, November 11 as Veterans Day, November 25 as Meatless Day and November 29 as Palestinian-Virgin Islands Friendship Day.
In addition, he proclaimed Survivors of Homicide Victims Awareness Month from November 20 through December 20, 2025.
