Government House announces death of Janlee Cruz

Government House said in a statement released on October 26, 2024, that Janlee Cruz had died.

Cruz was a member of the Virgin Islands Police Department’s Executive Security Unit and was assigned to Government House on St. Croix.

In the statement, Government House said Cruz was remembered for his professionalism, kindness, generosity and his work protecting staff and others at the Government House complex. The statement also extended condolences to his family and friends.
