WAPA board scheduled regular meeting for Dec. 19 on St. Thomas

The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority said on December 16, 2024, that its governing board scheduled a regular meeting for December 19, 2024, at 9:30 a.m.

The authority said the meeting would be held by video conference from the Al Cohen Conference Room on St. Thomas.

According to the published agenda, the board was set to consider Planning and Economic Development Committee items including the Feeder 5A amendment, the East End Transformer Replacement Project, an extension of the Borinken contract identified as SC-13-22, and a contract for the supply of ultra-low sulfur diesel for the St. Thomas and St. Croix power plants.

The agenda also listed a Finance and Audit Committee action item described as a summary of EY, followed by the executive director's report, an executive session for personnel matters, and adjournment.
