WAPA scheduled July 7 power interruption for Feeder 8A customers on St. Thomas

The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority said it scheduled an electrical service interruption for Feeder 8A customers on St. Thomas for Monday, July 7, 2025.

WAPA said the outage was expected to last about two hours between 9:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. and to affect about 1,518 customers.

According to the notice, the interruption was planned so crews could transfer Feeder 7A to a newly installed composite pole on Africa Hill.
