Bryan attends kickoff meeting for St. Thomas school rebuilding project
Gov. Albert Bryan Jr. attended a kickoff meeting on March 11, 2025, for Suffolk CBNA, the joint venture selected to rebuild six institutions on St. Thomas: five schools and one administrative building.
Government House said the meeting was led by Office of Disaster Recovery Director Adrienne Williams-Octalien, who outlined the project’s scope and timeline. Lt. Gov. Tregenza Roach also attended.
According to the administration, agencies represented included the Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority, the Department of Public Works, the Department of Planning and Natural Resources, the Virgin Islands Department of Education and the Office of Disaster Recovery.
The school rebuilding work is part of Bundle 2 of the Rebuild USVI program. Government House said groundbreaking was expected in 2025, with construction continuing through 2027.
