Virgin Islands government finalized $6 million settlement with Pafford Medical Services

Gov. Albert Bryan Jr. announced on April 14, 2025, that the Virgin Islands government had finalized a $6 million settlement agreement with Pafford Medical Services to resolve outstanding invoices for services provided to several government agencies.

Government House said the agreement covered billing related to work performed for the Department of Health, Virgin Islands Fire and Emergency Medical Services, the Bureau of Corrections, and Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital.

According to the administration, the settlement produced nearly $2 million in savings for the government and avoided litigation. Government House said the agreement was reached through discussions between the two sides.
