Bryan appoints Haldane Davies to lead Bureau of Economic Research

Gov. Albert Bryan Jr. announced on May 19, 2025, that he had appointed Dr. Haldane Davies as director of the Virgin Islands Bureau of Economic Research.

Government House said the appointment was effective immediately.

Bryan also thanked Bernesha Liburd, who had served as acting director for nearly four years.

According to Government House, Davies has experience in public administration, economic development and strategic planning, and serves on the board of the International Economic Development Council in Washington, D.C.
