WAPA scheduled Sept. 6 electrical outage for about 70 St. Croix customers on Feeder 8B

The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority said it scheduled an electrical service interruption on St. Croix for Friday, September 6, 2024, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The outage was expected to affect about 70 customers in Estate Frederikshaab on Feeder 8B.
WAPA said the interruption was needed to transfer primary and neutral wires to a new composite pole as part of its FEMA-funded composite pole installation project.
