WAPA said business offices and call center would reopen on August 15

The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority said on August 14, 2024, that its customer service and business offices across the territory were scheduled to open at noon on August 15.
WAPA said its call center would begin taking calls at 9 a.m. on August 15 while the offices remained closed earlier in the day.
The authority said customers could continue making bill payments online, by phone, at FirstBank, Banco Popular and Bank of St. Croix branches, or by check or money order in drop boxes outside business locations.
WAPA also said line crews were working to address outages and directed customers to its outage map for updates.
