Bryan issues statement on 2024 presidential election results

Gov. Albert Bryan Jr. issued a statement on Nov. 6, 2024, congratulating President Donald Trump on his election victory and recognizing other national and local candidates who won office in the 2024 elections.

In the statement, Bryan said federal decisions affect the U.S. Virgin Islands in areas including economic policy and disaster recovery, and said collaboration between national and local leaders would be important.

Bryan also said leaders should focus on solutions that improve residents' lives regardless of the political landscape.
