Bryan congratulated successful general election candidates and thanked voters

Gov. Albert Bryan Jr. issued a statement on Nov. 5 congratulating candidates who won in the Virgin Islands general election and thanking residents who voted.

In the statement, Bryan said he looked forward to working with the successful candidates and thanked "every Virgin Islander who came out to vote and made your voices heard in this election."

He also addressed candidates who did not win, saying their campaigns and participation contributed to the election process.

Bryan said the close of the election season marked "a new beginning" and called for unity in the territory.
