WAPA scheduled Centerline Road closures in Hannah’s Rest for underground electrical work

The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority said on September 12, 2025, that roadwork tied to the Hannah’s Rest Phase 1 electrical undergrounding project would affect traffic on Centerline Road in St. Croix.

WAPA said the work was scheduled from September 15, 2025, through October 20, 2025, on sections of the roadway between the Walter I.M. Hodge Pavilion and the western Caribbean Centers for Boys and Girls.

According to the notice, traffic in both directions was expected to be affected during that period.
