Bryan issues proclamations for June 2025 observances in U.S. Virgin Islands
Gov. Albert Bryan Jr. issued a series of proclamations recognizing June 2025 observances in the U.S. Virgin Islands, according to a Government House announcement published June 5, 2025.
The proclamations designated June 23-29, 2025, as Amateur Radio Week; June 27, 2025, as National HIV Testing Day; June 2025 as Men’s Health Month; June 2025 as National Caribbean-American Heritage Month; June 1-8, 2025, as National Fishing and Boating Week; June 2025 as National Ocean Month; and June 2025 as LGBTQIA+ Pride Month.
Bryan also proclaimed June 26 through July 3, 2025, as Virgin Islands Freedom Week.
Government House said the proclamations recognized public health, cultural heritage, environmental awareness and community contributions across the territory.
