Roach issued message marking observance of Ramadan
Lt. Gov. Tregenza A. Roach issued a message on February 18, 2026, marking the observance of Ramadan in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
In the statement, Roach described Ramadan as a holy month of religious reflection, increased worship, charity and community. He said Muslims fast from dawn to sunset and said the territory's Muslim community had contributed to the Virgin Islands.
Roach also said the territory honors diverse religious beliefs and customs and wished Muslims a peaceful observance of Ramadan.
