WAPA extended deadline for Alva C. McFarlane Scholarship applications to Feb. 28

The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority said on Jan. 29, 2025, that it had extended the application deadline for the 2025 Alva C. McFarlane Scholarship to Feb. 28, 2025.

WAPA said the scholarship was open to high school and college students pursuing education in engineering and STEM fields.

According to the notice, the scholarship provided up to $80,000 for bachelor's degree students and up to $30,000 for associate's or technical degree students.
