Bryan traveled to Washington for IGIA and NGA meetings; Roach served as acting governor
Gov. Albert Bryan Jr. traveled to Washington, D.C., on February 17, 2025, to attend the 2025 Interagency Group on Insular Areas meetings at the U.S. Department of the Interior and the National Governors Association Winter Meeting, according to Government House.
Government House said the IGIA meetings included federal officials and representatives of U.S. territories discussing policy matters affecting the territories, including economic development, infrastructure and federal partnerships.
During Bryan’s absence, Lt. Gov. Tregenza Roach served as acting governor until Bryan’s return to the territory.
