Cigna gave WAPA a 2024 Gold Healthy Workforce designation

The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority said Cigna awarded the utility a 2024 Gold Healthy Workforce designation.
According to the Feb. 21, 2025 announcement, the designation recognized employers for workplace well-being programs. The release said gold-level recipients demonstrated leadership engagement, wellness resources, supportive workplace policies and a data-driven approach to employee health and productivity.
WAPA Human Resources Director Sabrina King-Leonce said in the release that the authority had received Cigna's gold-level designation again.
