WAPA scheduled temporary power outage for Feeders 8B and 10B on St. Croix for Oct. 25

The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority said it scheduled a temporary power outage on St. Croix for Saturday, Oct. 25, 2025, affecting Feeders 8B and 10B.

WAPA said VI Paving was set to remove trees near power lines in the Kmart West area while WAPA line crews trimmed additional trees and repaired damaged main wire.

The authority said about 5,241 customers on Feeder 8B were expected to experience a two-hour outage and 1,644 customers on Feeder 10B were expected to experience a one-hour outage between 7 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Areas listed for the Feeder 8B outage included Frederiksted, Whim, White Bay, Williams Delight, Hannah’s Rest, Henry Rohlsen Airport, La Grange, Little La Grange, Northside and Prospect Hill, along with other surrounding neighborhoods.

Areas listed for the Feeder 10B outage included Annaly, Bethlehem, Carambola, Grove Place, Lorraine Village, Lower Love, Orange Grove, Pleasant Vale, Springfield and Upper Love, along with other surrounding neighborhoods.
