According to the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center an earthquake occurred in the vicinity of Puerto Rico at 920 AM AST on Friday September 18, 2026 with a preliminary magnitude of 4.6.

The earthquake has been reported as felt lightly.

Given the reported intensity of the earthquake it is believed there is no tsunami threat for Puerto Rico or the Virgin Islands.
