The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority said a scheduled potable water interruption was set for the Contant, or Soto Town, area of St. Thomas on September 22, 2025, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

WAPA said the interruption was planned to allow repairs to an 8-inch water main leak along Harwood Highway, also identified in the notice as Judy M. Gomez Highway.

The authority said customers from the VITRAN bus terminal area to Oriental Bank, including Contant, were expected to be affected.

WAPA also said one lane of Harwood Highway was scheduled to be closed from 9:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. on September 22, 2025.
