Bryan issues prayer appeal after reported attack on U.S. base in Qatar

Gov. Albert Bryan Jr. on June 23, 2025, issued a public appeal for prayer following what Government House described as an attack on a U.S. military base in Qatar.

In a statement, Bryan asked Virgin Islands residents to pray for peace, healing and protection for U.S. service members and for the territory.

He also said residents should pray for peace in the community, citing violence and anger in local interactions. Bryan urged faith leaders, families and community organizations to come together in solidarity and prayer.
