Bryan marks inaugural Alicia “Chucky” Hansen Day

Gov. Albert Bryan Jr. marked the inaugural Alicia “Chucky” Hansen Day on December 6, 2024, honoring the late former senator’s public service and political legacy in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Government House said Hansen served 11 terms in the Legislature and was known for her advocacy on behalf of constituents.

In a statement, Bryan said Hansen’s “honesty, candor, and invaluable counsel were gifts I relied on throughout my journey in public service.” He said he missed her “dearly.”

The statement also said Lt. Gov. Tregenza A. Roach Esq. had a longstanding friendship with Hansen rooted in public service.
