Paving began on part of Queen Mary Highway for WAPA undergrounding work

The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority said paving was scheduled to begin on December 4, 2025, on sections of the eastbound lane of Queen Mary Highway and related road crossings on St. Croix.

According to the notice, the work by contractor Marco St. Croix was set to run from the intersection of Upper Love Road, Route 69, to the traffic light at Route 663, Eddie Ortiz Drive, near Central High School.

WAPA said the paving was part of its undergrounding project.
