Bryan issues February 2026 proclamations in U.S. Virgin Islands
Gov. Albert Bryan Jr. issued a series of proclamations for February 2026 in the U.S. Virgin Islands, recognizing observances tied to Black history, children’s dental health, career and technical education, heart disease awareness, teen dating violence prevention, digital learning, engineering and school counseling.
Bryan proclaimed February 2026 as National Black History Month in the territory. He also proclaimed February as National Children’s Dental Health Month, Career and Technical Education Month, National Heart Month, and National Teen Dating Violence Awareness and Prevention Month.
In addition, Bryan proclaimed Feb. 6, 2026, as Go Red for Women Day; Thursday, Feb. 12, 2026, as Digital Learning Day; Feb. 22-28, 2026, as National Engineers Week; and Feb. 2-6, 2026, as National School Counseling Week.
The proclamations said the observances were intended to promote reflection, education, health awareness, workforce development and student support in the territory.
