Bryan left U.S. Virgin Islands for official delegation trip to Ghana
Gov. Albert Bryan Jr. left the U.S. Virgin Islands on November 22, 2025, to lead an official government delegation to Accra, Ghana, for meetings focused on economic, tourism, cultural and technology partnerships, according to Government House.
Government House said the trip was scheduled to run from November 22 through November 30, 2025. During Bryan’s absence, Lt. Gov. Tregenza A. Roach was serving as acting governor.
The delegation included senior officials from the Department of Tourism, Virgin Islands Economic Development Authority Chief Executive Officer Wayne Biggs Jr., and Virgin Islands Next Generation Network President and Chief Executive Officer Stephan Adams.
Government House said the delegation’s agenda in Accra included meetings with the Ghana Free Zones Authority, Hon. Elizabeth Ofosu Adjare, senior leadership of the Bank of Ghana, and President John Dramani Mahama. The delegation also was scheduled to visit the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre, tour Osu Castle, and meet with community and business leaders in the Osu neighborhood.
Government House said Bryan would become the first governor of the U.S. Virgin Islands to visit Ghana while in office.
