The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority said the Customer Service and Business Office in Sunny Isles on St. Croix closed from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on July 26, 2024, because of low to no water pressure as repairs continued on a main waterline leak at the Sunny Isles intersection.

WAPA said office hours in the St. Thomas-St. John district were unchanged.

The authority said disconnections would resume on July 29, 2024.

Customers were still able to make payments online, by phone, at FirstBank, Banco Popular and Bank of St. Croix branches, and by check or money order in drop boxes at business locations.
