Bryan issued statement marking Independence Day

Gov. Albert Bryan Jr. issued a statement on July 2, 2025, recognizing Independence Day and urging Virgin Islanders to observe the holiday safely.

In the statement, Bryan said the Fourth of July commemorates the declaration that all people are created equal and have unalienable rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

He also called on residents to remember Virgin Islanders serving in uniform and in civic life and to recommit to unity and service during the holiday.
