This level of heat may affect individuals sensitive to heat, especially those without effective cooling or adequate hydration.

Portions of Puerto Rico, Vieques, Culebra, and all the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Impacts

Hot temperatures and prolonged sun exposure, combined with locally higher humidity, may increase the risk of heat-related illnesses.

Safety instructions

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose- fitting clothing. Limit strenuous activities to the early morning or evening when possible. Take action if you experience symptoms of heat exhaustion or heat stroke.
