Bryan traveled to Nassau for Kappa Alpha Psi founders’ events; Roach served as acting governor
Gov. Albert Bryan Jr. traveled to Nassau, Bahamas, to take part in Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc.’s 17th Biennial National Founders’ Day Celebration and related leadership summit events, according to Government House.
Government House said Bryan, a member of the fraternity, was scheduled to deliver a keynote address during the events, which were held in Nassau from Jan. 7 through Jan. 11, 2026.
While in Nassau, Bryan also was scheduled to meet with the prime minister of the Bahamas and tour Royal Beach Club Paradise Island, a Royal Caribbean port development project in Nassau.
During Bryan’s absence, Lt. Gov. Tregenza A. Roach was to serve as acting governor until Bryan’s expected return to the territory on Sunday, Jan. 11, 2026.
