Bryan announced visit by Dominica housing minister for St. Thomas youth luncheon

Gov. Albert Bryan Jr. announced on March 28, 2025, that Dominica Minister of Housing and Urban Development Melissa Skerrit would visit the U.S. Virgin Islands as a guest of the Department of Tourism’s Future Female Leaders Luncheon.

Skerrit was scheduled to deliver the keynote address at the St. Thomas luncheon on March 29, 2025, at Government House in Charlotte Amalie. The event was described by Government House as part of a program for 12th-grade girls across the territory focused on mentorship, leadership development and career exposure.

Government House said the St. Thomas event followed an opening luncheon held on St. Croix on March 27, 2025, where University of the Virgin Islands President Safiya George gave the keynote address.
