WAPA, Waste Management Authority unveiled environmental mural at Ulla F. Muller Elementary School

The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority and the Virgin Islands Waste Management Authority unveiled an environmental stewardship mural at Ulla F. Muller Elementary School on St. Thomas on September 9, 2025.

The archived release said the mural was presented to students and staff at the school and was intended to promote conservation of water and electricity.

Aariyah Athanase, a WAPA communications specialist identified in the release as a contributing artist, helped paint the mural and spoke with students about environmental conservation.

The release said Ulla F. Muller Elementary School was WAPA's adopted school on St. Thomas. It also said the authority supported Juanita Gardine School on St. Croix.
