WAPA closed customer service and business offices at noon on August 13 because of Tropical Storm Ernesto

The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority said its Port of Sale, Al Cohen, Sunny Isles and Marketplace customer service and business offices across the territory closed to the public at noon on August 13, 2024, because of Tropical Storm Ernesto.

WAPA said it would not perform disconnections for unpaid bills while the customer service offices were closed to the public.

The authority said customers could continue transactions by phone, online, at FirstBank, Banco Popular and Bank of St. Croix branches, or by check or money order in drop boxes outside business locations.
