WAPA scheduled vehicle auction on St. Croix for March 19

The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority said it scheduled a public vehicle auction on St. Croix for March 19, 2025, at #1 Estate Slob, next to Island Toyota of St. Croix.
The auction was set for 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. WAPA said all vehicles would be sold as is, and that many were suitable for parts.
The authority said sealed bids were due by 11:30 a.m. on March 19 and had to be submitted in person to a WAPA Purchasing Department representative at the auction site. Bids were to be accepted only from people age 18 or older.
WAPA said payment for accepted bids had to be made within 24 hours. It also said it reserved the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
The authority said a separate auction for the St. Thomas-St. John district would be announced later.
