WAPA scheduled electrical interruption on St. Thomas for Aug. 25

The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority said on August 24, 2024, that it scheduled an electrical service interruption on St. Thomas for Sunday, August 25, from about 6 a.m. to 11 a.m.

WAPA said the outage was planned so crews could work safely in a manhole to restore electric service to businesses on Main Street after Tropical Storm Ernesto.

The authority said customers on part of Feeder 6B, Feeders 7B, 8B, 9B and 10B, and Yacht Haven Grande were expected to be affected.
