Bryan promoted Virgin Islands business opportunities at Miami Urban Golf Weekend

Gov. Albert Bryan Jr. participated in the annual Urban Golf Weekend in Miami, where he met with entrepreneurs to discuss business opportunities in the U.S. Virgin Islands, according to a Government House statement published on Sept. 2, 2025.

The statement said Bryan highlighted the territory's free-trade-zone status and said it offered advantages for businesses involved in importing and exporting goods, including opportunities to avoid tariffs while reaching broader markets.

Government House said Bryan also discussed policies aimed at promoting entrepreneurship, economic growth and new investment in the territory.

During the event, Urban Golf Weekend founders Clifford Addison and partners presented Bryan with the Eagle Award, according to the statement.

The statement also said proceeds from the tournament support scholarships for students pursuing education and career goals.
