Bryan proclaimed November observances in the U.S. Virgin Islands
Gov. Albert Bryan Jr. issued a proclamation on November 5 designating November for a series of awareness and recognition observances in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
The proclamation recognized November as National Diabetes Month, National Adoption Month, National Alzheimer’s Disease Awareness Month, National Entrepreneurship Month, National Family Caregivers Month, Virgin Islands Indigenous Native American Heritage Month, D. Hamilton Jackson Month, Virgin Islands Recycles Month, Survivors of Homicide Victims Awareness Month and Military Families Month.
It also designated Notary Public Proclamation Day on November 7, Veterans Day on November 11, American Education Week from November 13 through November 17, National Apprenticeship Week from November 17 through November 23, Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week from November 18 through November 26, and Meatless Day on November 25.
