Iran targets Israel and Gulf Arab states even as Trump says US is in talks to end the war - AP News
The Trump administration has offered a 15-point ceasefire plan to Iran. That's according to a person briefed on the contours of the proposal who spoke to The Associated Press. The proposal emerged as the U.S. military prepared to send at least 1,000 more troops to supplement some 50,000 troops already in the Mideast. The plan was submitted to Iran by intermediaries from Pakistan, who have offered to host renewed negotiations between Washington and Tehran. The person spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak publicly.

In another video, teams were seen searching for survivors and casualties inside a damaged house. The Red Crescent said that the U.S.-Israeli- strike targeted a residential area in the outskirts of the capital.
With thousands more U.S. Marines on their way to the Gulf, both sides firing intense barrages and Iran denying any negotiations are taking place, the war’s tempo remained high a day after Trump delayed his self-imposed deadline for Iran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz. Tehran’s chokehold on that crucial waterway has snarled international shipping, sent fuel prices skyrocketing, and threatened the world economy. (AP video by Bassam Hatoum)
