Acting governor, personnel director recognize third cohort of GVI Financial Fellows

Acting Gov. Tregenza A. Roach and Personnel Director Cindy Richardson recognized members of the third cohort of the Government of the Virgin Islands Financial Fellows Program during presentations at Government House on St. Thomas on Oct. 7, 2025.

During the event, each fellow delivered a capstone presentation summarizing their experience in the program and offering recommendations for improving government operations. Government employees who served as mentors also attended.

The presentations were: Caleisha Simon, "How Can We Grow, if We Don’t Know?"; Chanester Crawford, "The More You Know, The Confident We’ll Grow"; Najae Harris, "The ‘Cost’ of Occupational Burnout"; and Faith Prosper, "Harmony in a Multigenerational GVI: For Now and the Future."

According to Government House, members of cohort 4 and their mentors also attended, and the Division of Personnel planned to introduce cohort 5 later in October 2025.

The Financial Fellows Program was established in 2021, according to the release.
