Bryan proclaims May 1 as National Day of Prayer in U.S. Virgin Islands
Gov. Albert Bryan Jr. proclaimed May 1, 2025, as the National Day of Prayer in the U.S. Virgin Islands, according to a Government House announcement published May 1.
The proclamation said the observance aligned with the nationwide National Day of Prayer held across the United States. Government House said the 2025 theme was "Pour Out to the God of Hope and Be Filled," inspired by Romans 15:13.
The proclamation, issued under the authority of the Revised Organic Act of 1954, as amended, invited Virgin Islanders to join in prayer for the territory.
