Olivia Wilde responded to concerns about her so-called "unrecognizable" appearance on a recent red carpet.
Last week, Olivia attended the San Francisco International Film Festival to debut her upcoming comedy, The Invite, which she directed and stars in alongside Seth Rogen, Penélope Cruz, and Edward Norton. But in a video interview with SFGATE, much of the reaction focused on her appearance rather than the film itself.
"What happened to her 😳," one viewer wrote, while another said she looked "unrecognizable."
"She is so beautiful but she doesn't look okay," someone else added.
Another person claimed Olivia looked "unhealthy," while others said they hoped she was doing okay.
Some people speculated about cosmetic work or weight loss medication, while others argued that the camera angle distorted how Olivia looked.
"The cameraman really doing a disservice here," one viral comment read, as another joked that the cameraperson used the "'[Husband], can you take a picture of me?' angle."

Olivia herself addressed the discourse Saturday in an Instagram video with her brother. When he asked whether she had any comment about rumors that she was a "resurrected corpse," Olivia burst out laughing.
"Listen, that is a fish eye lens," she said. "And I admit, is that my best angle? Was that my best-ever look? No. No. It's startling. It's a startling image."
Still laughing, she added, "I don't know why I was so close to the camera. I didn't have to be," before joking once more, "I'm not dead."
Olivia captioned the video — which included a side-by-side of her red carpet photo and Gollum from Lord of the Rings — "Leave it to your little brother to give you the maximum amount of shit."

Honestly, I'm glad Olivia was able to laugh it off, but it's seriously beyond time people stop commenting on strangers' bodies.
