The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority said on July 10, 2025, that intermittent service interruptions on Feeder 9B over several days had affected about 356 customers while crews completed electrical system repairs.
WAPA said sections of the system had to be periodically de-energized so lineworkers could work safely. The authority also said it had engaged a contractor to assist with the restoration effort.
The authority said customers on Feeder 9B should expect two additional planned outages on July 11, 2025. The first was scheduled to begin at about 8 a.m. and last about two hours. A second outage was scheduled for the afternoon and was also expected to last about two hours.
